Jamaica raids 10 English players including Antonio, Gray, Redmond

Jamaica is making an audacious attempt to lure ten players from England into their international squad.

With the 2022 World Cup in Qatar looming large, Jamaica are going after the likes of Michail Antonio, Demarai Gray, Max Aarons and Nathan Redmond.

The Daily Mail reports they are also talking with the likes of Andre Gray, Isaac Hayden, Mason Holgate, Liam Moore, Kemar Roofe and Ivan Toney.

Not all those players may accept, but Jamaica will hope to have some Premier League superstars in their squad for the World Cup.

Most of these players have Jamaican passports or are eligible to acquire them quickly.

A lot would depend on whether those stars feel they have a chance of playing for England in the near future.
