The annual under 18 football tournament for Economic Community of West Africa states organised by Ghana would feature a team from Jos East local government area of plateau state
The tournament which is billed for 26 January to February 2, 2019 will feature winners of the just concluded National under 18 tournament put together by the Federation of Youth Soccer Club in Nigeria
The competition was preceded by an award to the Chairman of the Jos East Local Government Hon Ibrahim Agwom Adari for standing by feysoc towards ensuring the successful hosting of the tournament where about 22 club sides across the country participated.
Executive Secretary of feysoc Hon A.S Luya said the 2018 feysoc award was given to the chairman for his continued support to youth football in his council, state and the nation at large
“Hon Ibrahim has left an indelible mark in the annals of football in Nigeria, he has continued to sponsor football tournament with the aim of raising future football players from the grassroots”
Receiving the award Hon Ibrahim promised to sponsor the Nigeria under 18 players to the Ecowas tournament in Ghana and urged all those selected to be good Ambassadors of the country
