Joshua arrives late for Andy Ruiz rematch after getting lost on the way

Anthony Joshua got lost on the way to Diriyah Arena in Saudi Arabia where he is set to take on Andy Ruiz Jr for their much-anticipated fight tonight.

Joshua turned up late to his big night – because his police escort could not find the right way to the stadium.

His team ended up taking the wrong route – but it has not seemed to have fazed him after cameras picked up the Watford-born fighter with a gleaming smile on his face.

AJ will take on the Mexican in a couple of minutes with the sole aim of winning back the belts he lost to him in the summer in one of the biggest shocks in boxing in recent history.

Ruiz Jr stopped the Brit in the seventh round to claim the WBO, IBF and IBO heavyweight titles on June 1 at the Madison Square Garden in New York.
