Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE) by Queen Elizabeth as part of activities to celebrate her birthday.
The national award which will be the second for the boxer happpened on Friday night.
The 28-year-old who holds the WBA, IBF and WBO titles was honored for his services to boxing.
Recalled, Joshua was rewarded with an MBE for winning an Olympic gold at the 2012 games in London.
