Lille defender, Gabriel Magalhães, has passed his Arsenal medical.
According to The Times, Gabriel has completed his Arsenal medical and other formalities ahead of a summer move to the Emirates.
Italian giants Napoli reportedly have still not given up hope of pulling off the signing.
Arsenal already have strong relations with the French club, after negotiating a deal for winger Pepe last summer.

However, Manchester United had made one last push for the Brazilian centre-half.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wanted to sign a left-sided centre-back to pair with Harry Maguire and has been watching Gabriel over the past season.
Now with Arsenal moving closer to sealing a transfer, Solskjaer wants United to make a last-ditch attempt to steal one from their Premier League rivals.
Napoli have also made a late run at Gabriel, but it is believed he will head to the Premier League this summer in a deal worth £27m.
