Just In: Lobi Stars team bus burnt, players, officials injured
Players and officials of Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side, Lobi Stars escaped death on Monday after the bus which was conveying them back to Makurdi went up in flames.
The team were returning from Ilorin in Kwara State where they pipped Kwara United by a lone goal in an NPFL MatchDay 22 fixture at the weekend.

According to reports, the team were just five kilometres from Makurdi when the bus went up in flames with some of the players and officials sustaining injuries while trying to escape through the window,
Lobi Stars players barely escaped death on their way back to Makurdi from Ilorin where they just pipped Kwara United 1-0 in an NPFL MatchDay 22.
The bus was still burning at the time of filing this report.
