Juventus consider Pjanic return on loan this summer

Miralem Pjanic arrived at Barcelona last summer from Juventus with plenty of optimism, yet that drastically subsided as Ronald Koeman failed to give him many opportunities.

His lack of game time coupled with the confirmation of Koeman’s stay at Barcelona has led him to look for another club.

La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Juventus are now studying the option of bringing the Bosnian back to Turin, initially on loan.

Massimiliano Allegri coached the midfielder in his first spell with Juve and holds him in high regard, having won the Serie A title in each of the three seasons they worked together.

Pjanic featured in 30 games for Barcelona last season, but just 13 of those came as a starter.

“This season leaves me with a bitter taste and questions that still need answers,” Pjanic wrote on social media just a few days ago.

The player would therefore be more than willing to entertain a return to a club where he was a highly valued member of the first team.
