Kabore misses out for Burkina Faso

Burkina Faso must do without flying fullback Issa Kabore as well as three other regulars for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Cape Verde Islands later this month.

Undefeated Burkina Faso travel to Praia for the group B clash on Sunday, 18 June having already qualified. They have 10 points from four games, three more than the second-placed Cape Verdians, who will also qualify if they win the match.

Kabore, who is a Manchester City player but on loan in Ligue 1, is suspended for the encounter while coach Hubert Velud must also do without Italy-based Guiébré Abdoul, ex-Ajax Cape Town striker Lassina Traoré and Nassim Innocenti, who are all injured.
