Former Ajax striker, Kanu Nwankwo has tipped Ajax to qualify for the semi final of the UEFA Champions League at the expense of Juventus after tonight’s second leg clash in Turin.
He however agreed that it won’t be easy for the Dutch side who shocked Real Madrid before setting up another mouth watering clash with the Italian champions.
The ex-Nigeria international who won the Champions League with the club during his playing days commended the club for reaching this stage of the competition.
“It’s a great achievement for them to be in this stage,” Kanu said.
“I know it will not be easy for the Old ladies.
“I think if they play the way they played against Real Madrid, they will go through into the next round,” he told brila.net.
Both teams played a 1-1 draw in the first leg in Amsterdam.
