Kanu: Arsenal players must adapt to Emery’s way

According to former Arsenal and Nigeria striker Nwankwo Kanu that the new Gunners boss, Unai Emery will not put up with any players who refuse to adapt to his style of play.
Kanu who played for the Gunners between 1999 to 2004, appearing in 119 games and scored 37 goals said the former Sevilla boss will stick to his own style despite tongues wagging around.
He said: “The good thing about him is he knows his trade. At Paris Saint Germain (PSG), he won trophies over there.
He’s going to bring something to Arsenal, and if you look at what he’s doing, he’s not changing his way of playing. He’s strong, he wants his own way, which is good.
Now we have to get used to his way and players know he doesn’t mess around with anybody.
Kanu is the uncle of Arsenal youngster Kelechi Nwakali, who is currently on loan at Porto.
And he says he hopes Nwakali gets a chance in the Gunners first team soon.
“I keep advising him,” Kanu told Arsenalfocus.
“I hope one day they will open the door for him to come back to play for Arsenal.”
