Keane predicts doom for England at Euro 2020

Roy Keane has predicted England will fall short at the upcoming European Championship tournament in a hilarious new Road to Wembley series with Micah Richards.

The iconic former Manchester United captain joined ex-Manchester City defender Richards for a road trip to England’s home ground ahead of Euro 2020, which begins on Friday.

In the eight-minute first episode, released by Sky Bet’s Twitter account on Monday, Keane also criticised Richards for pitching up late and asked to stop off at TGI Fridays for a bite to eat.

The caption read: ‘The #EURO2020 road-trip we’ve been waiting for. @MicahRichards & Roy Keane hit the road to chat all things EUROs, and episode one is all about @England. There will be a new ep (episode) dropping every day.’

Keane initially displayed his frustration with Richards’ tardiness, checking his watch, blowing out his cheeks and stating he ‘didn’t want to go anymore.’

He said: Why can’t people be on time? There’s no excuse. Where is he? Jesus, man.’

After catching up with Richards, the 49-year-old declared his belief Gareth Southgate’s side would reach the last four of the competition, before asking the 13-cap international if they could stop off at the American restaurant chain, at 11.10am.

He added: ‘Do you know what? I’m probably going to say semi-final. I just think maybe (defensively) they will be caught out.

‘Is it too early for TGI Fridays? I’m hungry. Is it open?’ before stating his go-to meal there is a burger and chips.
