Kidnappers release abducted Adamawa Utd driver after N1m ransom
Driver of Adamawa United Football Club, Alhaji Kabiru, who was recently abducted by kidnappers when the team were travelling for the NPFL match to Lagos, has been released.
The Club ran into kidnappers on their way to Lagos last Friday for an NPFL game with the Mountain of Fire and Miracle Football club, their driver was abducted but the game was played on Sunday with the driver still with his abductors.

But the club had to cough out N1 million ransom for the driver to be released at the end.

Unknown gunmen attacked players and the coaching crew of Adamawa United along the Benin-Ore expressway during their trip for the Nigeria Professional Football League fixture against MFM FC.
The kidnappers had demanded a ransom of N50 million for the abducted driver.
Adamawa United left Gombe on Friday with the ambition to battle MFM FC in their Matchday 11 fixture at the Agege Stadium on Sunday.
