Kolo Toure Now Trains Iheanacho, Ndidi in London

Super Eagles duo, Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho now have former Ivorian international Kolo Toure as their new trainer at Leicester City.

Both players were on ground on Thursday as the former Ivorien international held his first training session as Brendan Rodgers assistant coach.

There was plenty of interests and happy moods throughout the training as the Northern Irishman, Brendan Rodgers and his Ivorian assistant got to work.

Thus far, Iheanacho has 8 goals in his kitty with 24 Premier League appearance 24 and the 22 year-old has been a substitute 15 times and a substitute-out for 6 times. He has been an unused substitute for  a record of 28 times still counting.

Brendan as reported was seen chatting to different members of the group and there appeared to be a jovial mood at the Belvoir Drive complex.  He had a word with England centre-back Harry Maguire and shook hands with Demarai Gray.

Rodgers was also pictured having a laugh with Christian Fuchs and seemed to be endearing himself to the players.

The former Celtic boss replaced sacked Claude Puel on Tuesday and his arrival has brought a lift in the mood and renewed optimism among the Foxes.

He gave a presentation to the players about what he expects from them both on and off the pitch before setting to work on the training paddock.

Leicester City will face Watford in Sunday’s early kick-off.
