LA Galaxy, Besiktas jostle to sign Mario Balotelli
Mario Balotelli continues to search for a new club after being released by Brescia and it has emerged that Los Angeles Galaxy and Besiktas are involved in a direct battle to secure his signature.
After having been a free agent for a number of weeks, developments have been slow with regards to the former Manchester City star’s future.
Los Angeles Galaxy would be interested in Balotelli to fill the gap left behind by Zlatan Ibrahimovic , with their previous marquee signing Javier Hernandez having struggled due to his injuries and lack of goals.

Balotelli ‘s salary would be problematic in MLS, never mind the fact that the Los Angeles club are already paying Hernandez , Jonathan dos Santos and Cristian Pavon as the three designated players who are exempt from salary cap rules.
