LaLiga: Barcelona midfielder Pedri lauds Lewandowski, Dembele combo
Pedri has hailed Barcelona’s attacking pair Robert Lewandowski and Ousmane Dembele.
Pedri has welcomed Lewandowski’s arrival this season – and instant impact.
“Robert is crazy, he scores a lot of goals, assists, a machine in the box. It is spectacular to work with him, he helps the young players, those who have arrived now or have been there for several years, on and off the pitch,” said Pedri.
On Dembele, he also said: “Ousmane always surprises. We discovered on the same day as the match that he was a father … On the pitch with the ball he can do everything well, it’s crazy, very few in the world know how to do those things. He always laughs, bringing happiness to the group.
“It’s crazy to have him and I hope he can stay with us for many years.”
Pedri also commented on veteran pair Jordi Alba and Gerard Pique, both of whom have struggled for minutes this season.
He added: “They are real crack, they help us young people in everyday life, they give advice on what they have experienced. In addition to their quality, which can contribute a lot to help the squad.”
