Lazio agree Dele-Bashiru deal with Hatyaspor

Lazio have reportedly agreed terms with Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, who is set to arrive from Hatyaspor for a total €6m.

Sky Sport Italia and Sportitalia confirm that he will make the move to the Stadio Olimpico on loan for €2m with an obligation to buy at the end of the season for a further €4m.

This is both lower than the €7m release clause in his contract and organised in such a way to spread the cost of the operation out over two seasons.

Today the final piece of the puzzle was found, agreeing personal terms with the player.

The 23-year-old creative midfielder was born in Nigeria and raised in England, where he came through the Manchester City academy and spent three years at Sheffield Wednesday.

He moved to Turkish side Hatyaspor in the summer of 2023 and made 39 appearances this season, scoring nine goals and providing six assists.

Dele-Bashiru also has one goal in two senior caps for Nigeria and had been linked with Napoli last year.
