Leeds Utd drop Tomori’s hints

Fikayo Tomori could be back on the market as Leeds United dropped the hint of acquiring the Chelsea star for now.

He was all set to be unlucky twice over after Andreas Christensen’s supposed “serious” knee injury, but Frank Lampard has refuted that bit of injury speculation. So, a potential January loan for Tomori appears to be back on.

Newcastle United has looked the most likely destination, and that still remains the case (alongside honorable mentions Rennes of Ligue 1), with Leeds United apparently not interested in following up on their summer interest. According to The Athletic, Marcelo Bielsa is not interested in acquiring a new centre back in this window and will stick with his current options despite a couple of injuries.

Either way, hopefully Tomori finds a better situation for his development than he’s had at Chelsea in 2020.
