Leicester 0 Chelsea 0:  Rohr watches Ndidi

 

Super Eagles’ Manager Gernot Rohr is excited about the current form of Eagles and Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi after watching him in a superlative form against visitors Chelsea in the final match of the just concluded English Premier League.

The Eagles Coach was on a working visit to his players in England where he had the opportunity of discussing with some of them most especially the Captain of the team John Mikel Obi.

The Coach was however disappointed that his other player Kelechi Iheanacho was not involved in the action. But he praised his dependable midfielder Ndidi which he told SportingLife.ng

“I had a good game to see here. (Wilfed) Ndidi very fit, Kelechi (Iheanacho) did not come in to play in the match. I would have loved to see him in action”, Rohr disclosed toSportingLife.ng from Leicester.

There had been hot debates on whether Ihanacho would be included in the final list of players going to AFCON. It’s now left for the Coach to decide on Iheanacho’s inclusion in the team. But the leadership of the NFF has somehow given the player a soft landing by appealing to the Eagles Coach to take him to AFCON to boost his morale.
