Ndidi’s opener was disallowed by VAR for offside and few minutes later, Harry Kane gave Spurs the lead in the 29th minute with his fantastic finish in the dramatic English Premier League match, but the Foxes still dug deep to secure a 2-1 win at home.
The midfielder took to his official Twitter handle to commend his Foxes’ teammates for grinding out a win against a strong Tottenham side.
“Massive 3 points? Great team spirit ? Immense Fans ? Oh enjoy your weekend” The ex-Genk star posted on his social media account.
Ndidi scrambled the ball over the line in the 16th minute after goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga failed to clear Youri Tielemans’ shot out of danger.
Before the Super Eagles’ midfielder pounced on the ball, Ayoze Perez was offside and his positioning cost the Foxes an early lead at King Power Stadium.
Serge Aurier thought he had doubled the visitors’ advantage shortly after the hour mark  only for VAR to intervene again, much to the home fans’ delight, with Son Heung-min adjudged offside in the build- up.
Goals from Ricardo Pereira and James Maddison in the 69th and 85th minute completed Leicester City’s comeback win.
Ndidi who played the entire 90 minutes of the game has made five appearances for the Foxes  this season and has scored one goal while his compatriot Kelechi Iheanacho did  not make it into Brendan Rodgers’ matchday squad.
