Bayern Munich new signing Leroy Sane has revealed that Kai Havertz will depart Bayer Leverkusen and join Premier League campaigners Chelsea.
The German forward has been linked with a move to the Premier League side in exchange for between 70 and 80 million euros, while Sane’s new club, Bayern Munich, had previously been linked with Havertz.
“It is good for Chelsea to sign two great German talents like Timo Werner and Kai Havertz this summer,” Sane said during his presentation as a Bayern player.

Havertz, who has scored 17 goals and assisted another nine this season, will be the cornerstone of Chelsea’s ambitious project as they look to reassert their dominance in the English top flight and in Europe.
If the deal goes through, the 21-year-old will become the Blues’ third signing this summer after Werner and Hakim Ziyech.
