Lesotho vs Nigeria: Injury Boost for Eagles ahead of AFCON 2021 qualifier

Super Eagles manager Gernot Rohr has been handed a massive injury boost ahead of the AFCON 2021 qualifying match against Lesotho.

Latest reports coming out of the team’s camp revealed centre-half Kenneth Omeruo was passed fit to feature in Sunday’s encounter by the team doctor.

The Leganes ace was an injury concern, no thanks to a  knock during training before the game against Benin Republic, and he was an unused substitute during the 2-1 win.

The Eagles arrived Maseru on Saturday, November 16, with all 23 players listed by the Coach and team doctor, Ibrahim Gyaran released an update on the players’ match fitness.

Although it is not yet confirmed if Omeruo will be selected for Sunday’s game, Gyaran was quoted as confirming to thenff.com, “that there are no injuries within the 23 –man playing body.”
