Lewis Hamilton set to launch own jewellery range

Lewis Hamilton is planning to launch his own range of jewellery.

The Formula One king, 37, has applied to trademark the use of his name across a range of goods.

This includes jewellery, watches, art in precious metals and ‘keyrings and fobs’.

Lewis previously took luxury watchmaker Hamilton International to court over products carrying his surname.

And now it appears the speed ace is hoping to use his brand to cash with his own glitzy products.

However having lost his legal battle with the Swiss firm, Lewis will have to use his full name on any jewellery.

The seven-time F1 champ and fashion designer is no stranger to new business ventures.

He is already an ambassador for another watch firm, IWC, and has proved to be a clever businessman.

His vegan burger chain Neat Burgers has been a hit and there are plans to open 30 more branches.

Lewis previously said: “I like to think I’m quite good at choosing the business ventures that I enter.”

The Mercedes driver, who celebrated his birthday on Friday, is also tipped to battle it out for his eighth world title next season.

He narrowly missed out on the historic victory to rival Max Verstappen in Abu Dhabi’s controversial finale.
