Ligue 1: PSG tell Mbappe to consider contract renewal

PSG are ready to sell Kylian Mbappe this summer after being informed he won’t consider a contract renewal.

With a year to run on his current deal, Mbappe has written to PSG to confirm he has no intention of extending his current deal.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports: “Kylian Mbappé has informed PSG of his decision: he’ll NOT trigger the option to extend current contract until 2025, it means that deal would expire next June 2024 — as L’Équipé called.

“PSG position: NO plan to lose Kylian for free.

“Sign new deal now or he could be sold.”

Watching on are Real Madrid, which are early favourites for the Frenchman’s signature. However, Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea are also expected to move for Mbappe after last night’s news.
