Liverpool boss Klopp rules out Henderson from Arsenal clash

Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp, has confirmed that Jordan Henderson will not be available for Monday’s clash with Arsenal.

Klopp has confirmed Henderson will miss with a thigh injury.

“Joe (Gomez) should be back today in training, that’s what everyone has told me,” said Klopp.

“Billy the kid is back in training. Joel (Matip) not. Hendo not yet, this game is for sure too early.”

Henderson’s absence may hand an opportunity to Thiago Alcantara to make his first Liverpool start after sealing his £20million transfer from Bayern Munich last week.

The German added: “We will see. We have a few days to train. Some boys have to recover from last night. I have an idea but don’t need to make a decision yet.”
