Liverpool could sanction Leicester City transfer

Leicester City have been linked with a move for Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita back in April and now it has been claimed the player ‘could be allowed to leave Anfield.

According to ESPN report, Reds boss, Jurgen Klopp might sanction the sale of Keita this summer as the Anfield side look to revamp their squad after a disappointing defence of the Premier League title in 2020-21.

Klopp could look to sell Keita, who has struggled to impress after his £52 million arrival from RB Leipzig in July 2018.

Keita made just ten Premier League appearances last season having been tested positive for coronavirus in October and picking up an ankle injury after starring in a 7-0 thrashing of Crystal Palace in December.
