Liverpool fans demand Keita’s sale for one surprising reason
Liverpool fans have demanded Naby Keita leave the club after injury ruled him out of Thursday’s Sheffield United match.
Keita was named in a midfield three to face Chris Wilder’s men at Anfield along with Jordan Henderson and Georginio Wijnaldum.
The Guinean international got injured in the warm-up and had to be pulled out for by James Milner.
It will come as a cruel blow to the former RB Leipzig ace – whose Liverpool career has been stunted by a series of injuries.
Goal report that Keita has been dealt a groin problem but the severity of the problem has yet to be confirmed.
It could be a grim outcome for Jurgen Klopp, who is already contending with a number of crocked stars.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Joel Matip, Fabinho and Dejan Lovren have all been missing in recent times.
But fans are starting to lose patience with Keita, who was starting to put some decent performances together prior to his injury.
One said: “Sell Naby Keita. Absolute donkey.”
Another fan said: “Naby Keita = glass. Get rid.”
“Rich tea biscuits post tea dunk are stronger than Naby Keita’s legs,” a third joked.

While a fifth tweeted: “Enough of this man, just get out of my club.”
Regardless of the incident, it did not take long for the Reds to get into the lead.
Within five minutes, Andy Robertson capitalised on George Baldock falling over to set Mohamed Salah up with a tap-in.
