Liverpool are weighing up a fresh move for Ismaila Sarr as Jurgen Klopp looks to shore up his attacking options this summer.
According to 90 min, Liverpool have rekindled their interest in Ismaila Sarr. The 23-year-old Watford forward was linked with a switch to Merseyside last summer, but he ended up remaining at Vicarage Road, starring in his club’s successful campaign that ended with promotion to the Premier League.
Liverpool are now ready to revisit their interest in Sarr and are prepared to splash £40 million for his services. The 23-year-old himself is aware of the interest, even asking permission from Watford to leave the club.
It remains to be seen whether Liverpool’s £40 million bid will appease the Hornets, but if the move is successful, Ismaila Sarr will the footsteps of Emiliano Buendia in the list of players who have moved to bigger Premier League clubs this summer. The Norwich City playmaker had earlier joined Aston Villa.
