 Lookman named among most creative players this season

 

Nigeria born former England junior international Ademola Lookman has been named as one of the most creative players in the premier league this season despite a horrible penalty miss.

Key passes per game and assist were the yardstick for identifying about twenty players that have been so creative so far though the season remains relatively young with only eight matches played./

The 23 year old Fulham winger made it in the 18th place with 1.8 passes per game with no assists yet. Lookman who joined Fulham in September this year on a season long loan from RB Leipzig is tipped to improve with every match.

He scored his first league goal for Fulham against Sheffield United on 18 October and narrowly missed getting another goal in November 7 derby against West Ham, losing a penalty.

The former Everton ace will be hoping to further improve when Fulham welcome his former club.

Manchester City’s Kevin de Bruyne however topped the list of twenty players with greatest passes of the season so far with 3.3 passes per game and three assists.

Aston Villa’s Ross Barkley is second on the ladder with three passes and one assist while Man United’s Bruno Fernandes and Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish occupy the third and fourth places respectively with 2.9 passes and three assists and 2.7 passes and five assists.

Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah completed the top five with 2.6 Key passes per game with no assist at the moment.

Other players who featured prominently include Leeds Jack Harrison, Everton’s James Rodriguez and Tottenham’s Harry Kane.
