Magnesium bath kept cramp away from me reveals Eni Aluko

 

Nigeria born former England international Eni Aluko, has revealed a routine that kept cramp away from her in the course of her near two decade soccer career.

The former Chelsea and Juventus ladies ace who was appointed Sporting Director at Aston Villa shortly after retirement from football revealed the secret while speaking on the Kings of the Premier League show, sponsored by Budweiser.

Aluko who made over 102 appearances for England with 33 goals to her credit further revealed that she sold the idea to Arsenal young star Bukayo Saka noting that it explains why the young lad has been performing in top shape without worrying over cramp.

“I know Saka’s family well. When he was a bit younger, I told them I soaked in a magnesium bath the day before a game to prevent cramp.

“Bukayo started doing the same thing and he’s flown ever since. He’s never had that problem with cramp since, so I’m definitely taking the credit for that!” she enthused.

Eni who is elder sister to Nigeria international Sone Aluko, it will be recalled won the Corpa Italia with Juventus ladies same year she joined the club in the 2018–2019 season.

A die hard Chelsea fan Aluko however revealed that he supported Manchester United as a child with Eric Cantona as her favorite player.

“Yes, I was a United fan growing up. My favourite player was Eric Cantona and I used to pop my collar like him in the garden,” she said

The 33 year old lawyer however re-echoed her love for Chelsea even as she expressed hope that the club management and the fans can give embattled manager Frank Lampard more time.

“Chelsea is in my heart, it’s my club, but I think we know they’re not too patient when it comes to managers. But I hope, I really do, they give Frank time. He did a great job last year, without being able to sign players, “she submitted.
