Former Manchester City striker, Paul Dickov, has revealed the club has long-term striker plans for Ferran Torres.
According to the Scot, Torres is a natural successor for Sergio Aguero.
“We talked before the game about Man City being relentless,” Dickov said to BBC Radio 5 Live after City’s victory over Crystal Palace.
“They didn’t let Crystal Palace off the hook straight from the kick-off and what a finish that is from Ferran Torres.
“Behind the scenes, they’re really pleased by how he is doing. He wants to learn, he’s always asking questions and today he’s been the best player on the pitch. They’ve got him earmarked as a future number nine at this club. The world is at his feet.”
