Man City join race for Almeria striker Umar Sadiq

Manchester City are eyeing rave of the moment Nigeria and Almeria striker, Umar Sadiq.

The Nigerian centre-forward has just completed a career-best season in Spain, where his form has attracted interest from Sevilla and Villarreal.

According to AS,  City are also keen, with the City Football Group (CFG) having plans to sign Sadiq ahead of loaning him to French outfit Troyes.

CFG plan to sign the former Rangers striker and send him on-loan to Troyes for the season following their return to Ligue 1.

Last term, Sadiq scored 20 goals in 38 appearances for Almeria.
