Man City remain in Paqueta talks with West Ham
Manchester City remain in talks with West Ham over the signing of midfielder Lucas Paqueta.
Initial approaches – where it’s understood City proposed a £60m package – were dismissed out of hand.
The Brazilian is understood to want to make the move.
While West Ham don’t want to keep an unhappy player, they will not consider selling unless offers in the region of £85m are on the table.

The 25-year-old has four years left on his contract with the option of a further year.
He has a release clause of £85m, which kicks in next summer.
