Man City to delay De Bruyne return

Manchester City are not in a hurry to reintroduce Kevin De Bruyne to the team.

De Bruyne has only featured in five matches for the league champions having suffered two separate knee injuries since the start of the 2018-19 campaign.

The Belgium international last played against Fulham at the start of this month, but it had been thought that the attacker would return for the clash with Bournemouth this weekend.

However, City will play it safe when it comes to the 27-year-old, and he could therefore miss the key clash with Chelsea on December 8 before returning for the festive matches.
