Man United beams search light on £145-a-week Bellingham

 

Manchester United’s pursuit for Jude Bellingham moved a step further on Monday, when his parents were spotted at the club’s facilities.

The 16-year-old Birmingham City starlet has been linked with a £35million move to Old Trafford throughout the season as he continues to flourish at the Championship outfit.

And on Monday afternoon, his parents were seen leaving United’s Aon Training Complex with their son in the back.

Bellingham’s father Mark was seen driving a Mercedes Benz 4×4 as they left the Premier League club’s training base in Carrington.

After their departure, United’s executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward left the Aon Training Complex about an hour later. The same goes for Manchester United’s head of corporate development Matt Jud

The Red Devils have been following the precocious teenager’s progress throughout the season as he continues to excel in his first campaign as a professional.

Bellingham is enjoying a breathtaking season with Birmingham having made 35 appearances so far – scoring four times too

Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund are two of the other clubs also interested in the teen. Manchester City also hold an interest.

The central midfielder oozes composure that bellies his age, while his spatial awareness in and out of possession is a joy to behold. Bellingham also has an eye for goal as his tally of four this season shows.

He broke Trevor Francis record as Birmingham’s youngest debutant broken when he made his bow at 16 years and 38 days.

Due to his age, Bellingham cannot sign a professional deal until he turns 17 on June 29.

Last summer, Bellingham signed a scholarship with Birmingham until 2021 where he currently reportedly earns £145-a-week.
