Man Utd plan to steal Guardiola’s Nigerian-born top scout
Manchester City have one of the best scouting networks in Europe, but they could be set to lose one of their best individuals to bitter rivals Manchester United.
Nigerian-born Stephen Ajewole is one of City’s top youth scouts and United are keen to make bring him into their own setup.
The Daily Mail have reported that the Red Devils wants Ajewole as their head scout for Under-15s to Under-18s sides, with head of youth recruitment David Harrison leading the charge.
Harrison himself left his role as City’s head of European scouting in 2017 to make the move across Manchester.
The thought of losing Ajewole is something that has sparked concern at Manchester City and it has led to fears that some of their transfer secrets could be leaked to their rivals.
