Man Utd face Tottenham for Real Madrid left-back Reguilon

Manchester United face competition if they hope to secure the signing of Sergio Reguilon from Real Madrid.

The Spanish left-back is finished with his season-long loan at Sevilla, where he won the Europa League.

United are in the running to sign him but now have to fend off interest from Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham, according to the Daily Mail.

Real Madrid want £25 million for the 23-year-old, but may want to include a buy-back clause in the contract.

Discussions are meant to progress in the coming week, with a final conclusion likely to come very soon.

Reguilon is not part of Real’s immediate plans given the team has Ferland Mendy and Marcelo for the left back position.
