The 21-year-old has been a key player for the Spanish side since 2018.
90min has reported that Chukwueze is considering his future and fancies a move to the Premier League.
Chelsea were also interested in the player in the summer, but that was prior to signing Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen.
But Villarreal are not in the mood to sell, which means a buying club would have to pay his release clause of £80 million.
