Man Utd ‘make Mbappe transfer target’ to hijack Real Madrid move

Manchester United have reportedly made Kylian Mbappe a transfer target as they look to bring in a new big-name striker next summer.

The Red Devils have been linked with mega moves for the likes of Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland and Tottenham striker Harry Kane during the current window.

But now they are said to have added Paris Saint-Germain superstar Mbappe to their list of potential targets.

The 2018 World Cup winner is out of contract at the end of the season, and looks set to part ways with PSG.

Mbappe has most frequently been linked with a move to Real Madrid over the last year or so and is a well-documented fan of the La Liga side.

But it appears Los Blancos may have some competition for the Frenchman’s signature.

According to ESPN, United are keen to swoop if and when Mbappe becomes a free agent in less than a year’s time.

It is believed that the Red Devils are well aware of Real’s intent to do the same, and know he is erring towards a move to the Bernabeu.

A source at PSG has echoed that Mbappe is looking into a switch to the Spanish capital, but is not pushing for a move at this stage
