Former Tottenham boss, Mauricio Pochettino, is being linked with Manchester United and Manchester City.
The Mirror says United are eying the former Tottenham boss after a wretched start to the season which has seen Ole Gunnar Solskjaer lose two of his opening three games either side of a fortune victory at Brighton.
But Old Trafford bosses are also aware that Pochettino is also seen across town at rivals City as a candidate to replace Pep Guardiola at the Etihad next summer, with the Catalan showing no sign of signing an extension to a contract that expires in seven months.
Pochettino, 48, has been out of football for almost a year after leaving White Hart Lane last November.
He made it clear in the summer that he wants to return to the Premier League after recharging his batteries.
And both Manchester clubs would offer him the kind of big opportunity he has been waiting for.
