Man Utd monitoring PSG veteran Cavani as Ighalo deal falters

Manchester United are monitoring Edinson Cavani’s situation at Paris Saint-Germain.

The Red Devils are considering a move for an experienced striker this summer.

It is especially likely if they fail to secure Odion Ighalo from Shanghai Shenhua for next season.

And Cavani remains a target for the Premier League giants, per the Manchester Evening News.

His contract is expiring this summer, and he has been heavily linked with Atletico Madrid.

But those links have dried up since the COVID-19 outbreak and if Cavani does not get the offer from Atletico, he may fancy a couple of years in the Premier League.

Cavani would provide competition and cover for Anthony Martial in the striker position if he joined United.
