Man Utd tell Inter Milan to forget about Martial replacing Lukaku

Manchester United are not ready to accept any offer from Inter Milan for Anthony Martial as a replacement for  Romelu Lukaku.

The Nerazzurri confirmed the sale of Lukaku to Chelsea on Thursday for an enormous fee of £98m.

Reports in Italy have claimed Inter will now use some of that money to pursue Martial, who has endured an inconsistent stint at Old Trafford.

However, the Daily Mail says United are preparing to reject Inter’s initial offer of £50m.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer still has enormous faith in Martial, despite his inconsistent performances.

And given Cavani will absent for the opening matches this season, Martial is expected to lead the line for United.
