Man Utd’s new signing holds one surprising record

It was announced earlier that Manchester United are set to sign Barcelona wonderkid Marc Jurado in the summer after the club agreed a £1.5 million deal to sign the talented full-back.

Jurado, who spent this season with Barcelona’s U16’s, reportedly turned down a contract offer from the Spanish giants worth €60,000 annually, according to ESPN, in order to join the youth ranks at Old Trafford.

The 16-year-old’s individual highlights have already emerged online, and many are impressed with his talent.

Jurado is clealy rated highly at the Camp Nou but according to reports, United have completed a deal to sign the right-back, who holds the record for the fastest youth goal ever scored.

Back in 2013, in a game against Viladecans, the youngster made a tackle and scored within five seconds of kickoff during the U10’s Second Division fixture.

Barca went on to win the game 9-0 but Jurado’s lightning quick opener certainly got people talking.

It is believed Barcelona are ‘disappointed’ to lose Jurado to United and are upset with the way his agent, Carlos Lacueva, handled the incoming transfer.

Meanwhile many fans of the Premier League club will be excited by his undeniable potential, especially with all the highlight reels emerging online.
