Manchester United, Man City to battle for Inter Milan Lautaro Martinez

Manchester United and Manchester City will reportedly do battle for the signature of Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez next summer.

The 22-year-old has impressed with his performances so far this season, netting seven goals in all competitions – including goals away at Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.

Reports have suggested that Barcelona, now looking for a Luis Suarez replacement, view Martinez as a priority ahead of the summer transfer window

According to Calcio Mercato, United and City will also both make a concerted effort to secure the Argentine’s signature.

It is claimed that Martinez has a release clause of £95m, which becomes valid for clubs outside of Italy between July 1 and 15.
