Manny Pacquiao shortlists two for potential career-ending fight

Manny Pacquiao has revealed he would like to fight Terence Crawford or previously scheduled opponent Errol Spence in a pre-retirement fight.

The Filipino legend now faces another tough test in his career as he faces late-replacement Yordenis Ugas who currently holds the WBA ‘super’ welterweight world title who was set to feature on the co-main event.

Pacquiao was set to face unified welterweight champion Spence this weekend, but the American was forced to withdraw from the contest as a result of an eye injury suffered in the build-up.

And the 42-year-old has revealed that Crawford and Spence are two fighters he would ‘like to face’ despite admitting it could be ‘his last time’ in the boxing ring.

“I don’t know if this is going to be my last [time in the ring], we are going to see fight by fight,” Pacquiao said during an interview with ESPN KnockOut.

“But if I have the possibility of making one more fight, then I would like to face the best — either Terence Crawford or Errol Spence.”

Pacquiao has a star-studded resume in a career that has made him a real contender to be inducted into the boxing hall-of-fame duelling with the likes of Floyd Mayweather, Oscar De La Hoya and Ricky Hatton.

And the 42-year-old has revealed that although the fight could be his last, he has prepared himself in superb condition and is ready to ‘display’ it all on fight night this weekend.
