Martial set for new five-year deal at Old Trafford

Manchester United winger Anthony Martial is in line to sign renew his contract that is expected to keep at the Old Trafford for another five years.

The future of the France international appears to have warmed his way into the heart of the club’s hierarchy after his brace against Chelsea at the weekend.

Before now the player had expressed his interest to leave United when he was not getting enough playing time.

The 22-year-old’s bit-part role under manager Jose Mourinho last season resulted in him missing out on France’s victorious World Cup squad this summer.
