Mbappe, Kante, Hazard, Drogba dine out after FIFA awards

Former Chelsea legend Didier Drogba joined Eden Hazard, Kylian Mbappe and N’Golo Kante for dinner after the Best of FIFA Football Awards for 2018 in London on Monday night.

The ceremony was held at London’s Royal Festival Hall, with the trio of Hazard, Mbappe and Kante making the Team of the Year, while Drogba graced the event to hand out individual honours to players and coaches .

They ate at Babbo, the restaurant co-owned by Chelsea team mates David Luiz, Willian and Kenedy.

Babbo – meaning ‘father’ in Italian – has become a popular hang-out for Premier League stars since opening in April this year.

Both Mbappe and Kante won the World Cup with France this summer, while Hazard featured for Belgium who finished with the bronze.

PSG star Mbappe was also revealed to have been voted fourth in the best men’s player award, with Hazard
seventh.

Luiz and Willian posed for a group picture with the players which was posted on the Brazilian defender’s Instagram page.

Some of the players who visit the restaurant on a regular basis are Fred, Cedric Soares, Richarlison and Olivier Giroud.
