Mbappe ready to sign for PSG now and Madrid 2years later

World Cup winner Kylian Mbappe is  prepared to sign a new deal with Paris Saint-Germain and wait two years before securing a dream move to Real Madrid.

Mbappe’s current PSG contract expires in June 2022 and the striker could agree to a new deal that has a clause enabling him to eventually join Real for a specific fee, as reported by AS.

Real are currently enduring financial difficulties relating to their wage bill, and Mbappe is prepared to wait for the situation to improve before he makes the switch to the Spanish capital.

Real have already borrowed €100 million (£87million) for the development of their stadium, with a further €275 million (£241million) to be borrowed in June this year and then another €200million (£175million) in June 2022.

When he was growing up, Mbappe dreamed of playing for Real and idolised Cristiano Ronaldo.

PSG are adamant that if they do eventually sell Mbappe then they will demand more than the £198million they paid to sign Neymar in 2017, which remains a world-record fee.

Real initially estimated that they would have to pay around €150 million (£131million) for Mbappe – but the actual fee is likely to be far higher.

Mauricio Pochettino, who was appointed as PSG manager last month, is determined to keep both Mbappe and Neymar.

There have been suggestions that Neymar will sign a new four-year deal with PSG and there is hope that Mbappe will also extend his stay at the club.

Mbappe currently earns around €21million (£18million) per year at PSG but would face a significant reduction if he made the switch to Real.

So far, Mbappe has scored 107 goals in 149 appearances for PSG since moving to the French capital in 2017.
