Mbappe steals the show as PSG score three in away win over Bayern Munich

An inspired performance from Kylian Mbappe has helped PSG claim a 3-2 win over Bayern Munich in Germany on Wednesday.

Mbappe followed up his incredible performance in the quarter-finals against Barcelona by opening the scoring at the Allianz after just three minutes.

The Frenchman – who scored four goals across two legs in the quarters – thumped a drive past Manuel Neuer after connecting on a pass from Neymar.

Marquinhos then doubled the lead for the visitors thanks to another assist from Neymar.

Former PSG striker Eric Chuopo-Moting pulled one back for Bayern with a header before half-time.

Thomas Muller equalised for the hosts headed Joshua Kimmich’s free-kick past Keylor Navas.

But it wasn’t enough as Mbappe popped up to score his second by striking through the legs of Jerome Boateng.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side now have three away goals heading into the second leg next week.
