M’brough, Liverpool in talks over N4.7b Sheyi Ojo deal

Ojo

Nigerian-born Liverpool winger, Sheyi Ojo is a target for both Middlesbrough, Nottinham Forest and Reading.
The Telegraph recently reported that Liverpool are set for a mass clearout this summer.
As per the report, Klopp could be set to shift on many players this summer, raising over £100m in the process.
Some of the players Liverpool could be set to sell are the underperforming Loris Karius, Divock Origi, Danny Ings, Sheyi Ojo, Lazar Markovic and Pedro Chirivella.
According to The Sun, Middlesbrough are in talks with Liverpool over signing Sheyi Ojo for a fee of around £10m.
This is hardly surprising given that Liverpool have already brought in four fresh faces to the Liverpool squad this summer meaning departures were always likely.
However, Wolfsburg and Reading have also reportedly inquired about signing Ojo meaning Boro are up against some decent competition as they look to strengthen their attack after a disappointing 2017/18 season.
At the start of the 2017/18 season, Middlesbrough were one of the favourites to win automatic promotion.
This is hardly surprising given the players they kept hold of, the money they spent and the manager they had signed.
Pulis will now be using this summer to put his own touch on the Boro squad with Ojo possibly looking to be Boro’s third signing of the summer.
The reason Boro may be targeting Ojo is because they are in need of a replacement for Patrick Bamford who is according to The Telegraphis set to undergo a medical at Leeds United tomorrow (today) ahead of a £7m move.
