Wilder and Fury’s trilogy fight has been pencilled in for July, providing sport has resumed by then amid the coronavirus crisis, and Tyson offered some advice to his fellow American ahead of the third clash.

He told the Sportsman: ‘[Wilder] has to go right back in, right away. ‘Get yourself healthy, your head right, and get back in the ring.’

Tyson is a self-declared fan of the Gypsy King and was leaning towards his name-sake before the original rematch.

Fight fans were hoping to see Fury go to war with Anthony Joshua in a unification battle that would crown an undisputed champion.
